Hansen Airship

Welcome aboard the Hansen Airship, a rambunctious Americana string band from Lincoln, Nebraska, that turns roots music into a wild, imaginative ride. Their songwriting acts as a sonic time-capsule—blending bluegrass, folk, and blues into surreal landscapes filled with eccentric everyday characters and untamed pioneer spirits.

Driven by a steady upright bass, their sound flies high on intricate guitar picking, down-to-earth fiddling, and tightly locked vocal harmonies. Fresh off the release of their 2025 album, Impermanence, this trio delivers a hearty dose of musical joy that delights the young, the old, and everyone in between.
